About the Artist
Hello! My name is Ryan Grohowski and I’m a Class of 2029 architecture major at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I grew up in northern Virginia, where I fell in love with all the museums in DC. I went to my first two years of high school in Baltimore at the Gilman School, where I fell in love with sculpture and woodworking. I finished out my high school education in Connecticut at Kent School, where I fell in love with architecture.
Throughout my life, I’ve always loved art and the ideas of looking at things through different perspectives. Everything from the intricate details of Neoclassical paintings, to the incredible sculptures of Li Hongbo. I believe that my brain works in 3d, the images that form constantly rotating and shifting around themselves. I think that theory shows itself within all of my art, and hopefully within my architecture as well.
